Description: This full-time Learning and Innovation Librarian III position is located at the Headquarters Library and is responsible for meaningful implementation and management of maker and STEM/STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, math/ Science, technology engineering arts and math) spaces and technologies for the library system. The position asks for an enthusiastic, creative individual to serve as a catalyst to improve access to library resources, technology and services through strategic project management, staff training, suggested organizational development strategies and other initiatives as needed. Oversees the implementation and management of maker and STEM/STEAM equipment and technology to highlight mission-specific learning outcomes and experiences for staff and citizens. Develops instructional materials as needed for the education of STEM/STEAM products, software, and safety. Leads the work of the Innovation and eResources Team, with the Division Manager for Collection Development and Technology Innovation.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Library Science, or other related field and two (2) years of training/ educating adult learners; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Public Library experience preferred.
