Description: Assist students and staff in using online reference databases. Maintain the physical appearance of the library. Collect forms from patrons such as name, address, phone number, age, etc., and issue Icards to them. Record details of books borrowed and returned by students, faculty, and staff. Maintain and ensure discipline within the library. Conduct inventories of books, materials, equipment, supplies; store and discard materials according to standard procedures. Shelve books, laminate, printers, copiers, etc. Instruct Faculty, Students, and Staff with LibGuides. Reading sessions. Administrative duties such as entering requisitions, customer service (answering phone calls, directing students/faculty/staff/visitors to appropriate resources, etc.), receiving/distributing mail.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate’s preferred. Customer service experience, serving in an academic or public library. Two (2) or more years of experience working in library service.

Salary: $14.00 / hour
