Description: The Library Copyright Institute Project Manager will serve as the main program contact for the project and will be responsible for planning and organizing various aspects of the program. This includes managing announcements and scheduling of Library Copyright Institute (LCI) classes and events, overseeing the LCI's web presence, and managing contact lists for participants and speakers. The Project Manager will also act as the primary point of contact for other library copyright education programs and provide basic technical and logistical support during LCI classes whenever possible. Additionally, they will document all meetings and action items, collaborate with the Principal Investigator and relevant entities to provide required reports, and assist with the preparation of paperwork necessary for speaker reimbursement. The Project Manager will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, meeting deadlines, and maintaining project documentation and learning materials. They will also contribute to project budget monitoring, promote the project through various channels, identify and address the needs of students, speakers, and the Principal Investigators, and provide any necessary assistance to support the success of the LCI cohort members. In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for drafting reports as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Preferred qualifications for this position include a demonstrated interest in copyright, experience in curriculum development, proficiency in group facilitation, prior experience in research support, and a background working in libraries or collaborating with librarians.
Salary: $45,477 - $56,545
