Description: Under general supervision, performs specialized library work in the Circulation Department of the Library. Work involves managing the NC Cardinal system, overseeing and troubleshooting the Bibliotheca RFID/self-check system, creating and running reports, coordinating with the Circulation Supervisor regarding staff schedules and patron complaints, and assisting library patrons in the use of library services, facilities, and equipment. Employee must exercise considerable tact and courtesy in frequent contact with patrons and the general public. Reports to the Circulation Supervisor. Graduation from High School and experience working with the public in a Library setting; college degree preferred; or any equivalent combination of
Qualifications: training, education, and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver’s License. Evening and weekend work required.
