Description: This position processes resource sharing materials from NC Cardinal library systems; assists and instructs library patrons in the use of reference materials and equipment; answers routine reference questions and requests; assists patrons with software applications and internet resources, including email and reference subscriptions; provides patron support for downloadable titles and other digital services.
Qualifications: Graduation from high school and some experience in library work. General knowledge of library systems and procedures; general knowledge of, and ability to explain and use, reference sources and materials; ability to pack and move boxes up to 40 lbs; ability to communicate effectively; excellent interpersonal skills.
Salary: $16.72 - $ 28.64 / hour
