Description: As part of the Maker + STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Unit, the Librarian will work to develop, coordinate, and implement Maker and STEAM-focused programming for all ages. Responsibilities include implementing programming and outreach activities focused on Maker and STEAM topics with an emphasis on bridging the digital divide, providing specialized help to the team in the maintenance and use of emerging technologies within library locations, assisting with basic inventory and upkeep of supplies for the library’s makerspaces, and assisting at service points as needed.
Qualifications: Completion of a Master of Library Science program from an ALA-accredited library school.
