Description: The Duke University Medical Center Library & Archives is seeking a dynamic and proactive librarian for our Research & Education team with a dual focus on growing data management and research impact services. The Liaison for Data and Research Impact enables and promotes research integrity and evidence-based practice at Duke Health through research consultation, publication tracking, and data management guidance. This position works closely with the biomedical research community and focuses their efforts in two primary areas: research impact and research data management. The Librarian will co-lead research impact initiatives, including creating regular and customized analyses of publications for departments and grants. The Librarian will also work collaboratively with research support offices and other campus departments to provide guidance on institutional and funder-based research data and open science initiatives. As part of the Research & Education team, the liaison collaborates with other Research & Education librarians and Duke Health patrons.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Library or Information Science or advanced degree in a relevant field. Three years of experience in a health sciences information environment. Direct experience in either publication tracking/research impact reporting or research data management. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
