Description: This position collaborates with faculty and administration to assist students (both on-campus and remote), while also providing secondary support for the development and maintenance of online tools such as LibGuides, the Alexandria OPAC, the proxy server interface, and the Summon Discovery System. He/she reports to the Library Director for a total of 40 hours per week though the calendar year. The Research Services Librarian will normally work one evening per week until midnight closing, and may also participate in rotating Saturday or Sunday shifts.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have completed a Masters’ Degree in Library / Information Science, and will have some exposure to course management systems such as Canvas. Entry-level applicants and persons currently enrolled in MSLS graduate programs are welcome to apply.
