Description: The Resource Specialist will provide social services and programs at multiple sites that are responsive to the existing and emergent needs of the community, including basic counseling, referral, and intervention for residents of all ages. The Resource Specialist will navigate complex social service and human service systems to achieve desired outcomes and improve participant quality of life as well as collaborate with and train library staff to integrate social work practices into overall library services.
Qualifications: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and directly related experience; master’s or bachelor’s degree in counseling and directly related experience; master’s degree in library science with certification, coursework or concentration in social work, and directly related experience.
Salary: $38,250 - $42,450
