Description: The Science Librarian engages with the faculty, researchers, staff, and students in assigned academic and research programs to deliver responsive and innovative research and instructional services. The librarian will work with areas in the physical sciences, exact departments dependent on institutional need and the librarian’s experience. The position collaborates with other librarians in the Natural Sciences and Engineering department to provide library services to programs across the sciences, and with librarians in other disciplines to support interdisciplinary research and teaching. They will also collaborate with library colleagues to develop and promote services in support of research data management, repositories, and scholarly communications initiatives, and digital projects. This position also has collection development responsibilities.
Qualifications: Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent combination of a relevant advanced degree and experience. Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
