Description: The Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield is looking for a Technology Coordinator to fill a full-time vacancy. This position is responsible for guiding, coordinating, and implementing the overall technology for the library and providing technology support to the county’s seven affiliated libraries. Duties includes administer and maintain the library’s servers, computer network, and integrated library system; maintain the library’s website and social media outlets; provide comprehensive technology training and support to internal and external customers and staff; create new technologies and implement special technology projects for the library; and the ability to evaluate WAN and LAN for the library. PLJCS employees may be assigned to work on weekdays, evenings, or weekends.

Qualifications: Associates degree required or 4-year college degree preferred in Computer Science or related field. Customer service and library experience is preferred.

Salary: $32,000 - $49,000
