Description: Under the supervision of the Department Manager, the incumbent in this position will plan and implement programming for children and their parents or caregivers at Braswell Memorial Library, community branch libraries, and other outreach locations. Responsible for maintaining accurate statistics and evaluating programming success. Create eye-catching displays to promote reading and to merchandise the collection. Evening and weekend work is required.
Qualifications: Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. One to three years’ experience in library services is preferred. Ability to speak Spanish is desirable, but not required.
Salary: $26,000 - $48,900
