Description: The Youth Services Librarian supervises, plans, and coordinates the Youth Services Program, including services, programs, and events for children and young adults. They are responsible for managing the collection, assisting patrons, and providing administrative functions. This position requires flexibility, with the Librarian floating between branch locations and working a schedule as assigned by the Library Director, which may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications: A Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited university is the preferred qualification for this position. Alternatively, candidates may hold a Master's degree in a related field and have one to two years of experience in library service to children. In lieu of specific degrees, an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in childhood education.

Salary: $44,470 - $60,028
