DB034746 The Frugal Gourmet Celebrates Christmas by Jeff Smith

More than just a cookbook, this collection offers a celebration of Christmas--and for good measure Smith adds stories and recipes for Chanukah and dishes for some European Christmas Eve feasts. As he tells the Christmas story, Smith provides foods appropriate for members of the manger scene--milk and honey for Jesus, honey cake for the angels, and lamb meatballs for the three wise men. Holiday recipes follow.
